The acclaimed Peppa Pig franchise, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is making a grand entrance into the LEGO DUPLO universe, thanks to a strategic collaboration between LEGO Group, Hasbro and Merlin Entertainments.
Lego Group and Hasbro unite behind Peppa Pig
The LEGO DUPLO Peppa Pig sets, the result of a renewed collaboration between LEGO Group and Hasbro, build on the success of the previous partnership for LEGO Transformers. Roberta Cardazzo, Head of Design at LEGO Group, expresses the team's excitement at the idea of bringing Peppa Pig to life in LEGO sets, responding to fan demand.
Peppa Pig, known for her adventurous spirit and ability to inspire kids to explore and learn, finds new expression in these LEGO DUPLO sets. Kids will be able to recreate the adventures of Peppa and her friends, while developing essential skills such as creativity, patience, and sharing.
Peppa Pig in LEGOLAND Parks
As for the themed attractions in Merlin Entertainments' LEGOLAND parks, the first Peppa Pig areas will open this year in Denmark and Germany, offering visitors an immersive experience in the universe of the series.
These installations are part of a broader strategy to enrich the LEGOLAND experience with content that resonates with young visitors.
Since its launch, Peppa Pig has grown into a global brand, present in more than 180 territories and particularly popular in China, a key market for LEGO Group. This collaboration between LEGO and Hasbro, which has already spawned projects such as Optimus Prime (10302), is a testament to the two toy giants' desire to create enriching play experiences for children.
The full range of LEGO DUPLO Peppa Pig sets will be unveiled later this year, promising new adventures and valuable playtime for young Peppa Pig and LEGO fans.
