If you're a LEGO enthusiast, get ready for an unforgettable experience. Registration for the LEGO Inside Tour 2024 is now open. If you are selected, not only will you have the opportunity to visit the Billund factory, but you will also be able to visit the residence of Ole Kirk Kristiansen, the founder of LEGO. But what can you expect from this adventure? And what is the cost of this unique experience? Here's everything you need to know.
A journey to the heart of the LEGO universe
The LEGO Inside Tour is a golden opportunity for LEGO fans to travel to Billund, Denmark, where it all began. You will have the opportunity - depending on the ticket you purchase - to take part in several guided tours, meet LEGO designers and enjoy the attractions of LEGOLAND Park as well as the LEGO House. V
You will also have a building session with LEGO designers by choosing the most complete package. But that's not all: you'll also leave with an exclusive set that you can keep as a souvenir or discreetly resell to recoup part of your investment.
What is the price? There is the three-day pass that will cost you the sum of 22,000 DKK, or almost €3,000, if you choose the most complete solution. This rate does not include travel costs but the package includes all meals, drinks and snacks for the duration of the tour. The package includes three nights' hotel accommodation and an annual admission ticket to LEGO House.
For 25,000 DKK (€3350), the tour can only take place over one day but with a meal at the MINI CHEF restaurant at the VIP table and an exclusive meeting with a LEGO designer with a building session. Tickets to LEGO House for the next day are included.
There are more affordable tickets for a one-day tour, the LEGO Fan Tour, at 4499 DKK ($600).
Requirements and Eligibility for the Lego Inside Tour
Participants must be at least 12 years old to register for the LEGO Inside Tour. Teenagers between the ages of 12 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult. The price is the same for everyone, regardless of age.
The dates of the different sessions for 2024 are as follows:
- 17-19 April,
- 22-24 May,
- 29-31 May,
- 19-21 June,
- 11-13 September,
- October 24,
- October 9-11
- and October 30 - November 1.
You have until October 19 at 10:00 a.m . to make up your mind. After this date, you will have to wait to find out if you have been selected and if the session of your choice, among the eight available between April and November 2024, has been assigned to you.
Opinions on the cost of this experience are divided. Some find the price to be exorbitant and discriminatory, while others are willing to take a chance despite the high cost.
